some pics from trials

here's what's been up with the swimming olympic trials thus far (in picture form for better understanding):

this is a picture of the pool. it's gorgous. there is a woman's heat starting...i don't know what event they are starting however. i want to be there...in the crowd somewhere, cheering my heart out!

this is dana kirk swimming the 200 fly. she won...and who wouldn't with that sort of wingspan???

this is natalie coughlin. she's awesome...i hope she brings home gold in at athens. zerek thinks she's hot. i'm sending him a pin up from one of my magazines so he can hang her on his wall.

this is larsen jensen and klete keller. in this picture they just finished swimming the 400 free (that's down, back, down, back, down, back, down and back in a big olympic pool) and they're happy because they finished 1st and 2nd and will now swim it in athens. if i had their pictures i would post them on my walls.

this is brendan hanson. he's been winning all the breaststroke events. i'm a little upset that ed moses, the breaststroke superstar, didn't make the team this year. it's kind of sad. brendan's breaking world records, though.

this is lenny krazylberg and aaron peirson. they are my backstroke gods. they rock. they're all smiles as they will be swimming the 100 backstroke in athens. if i had posters of these two i would put them all over my walls, too.

this is kaitlin sandeno. she's going in almost everything. she's rocking the pool in long beach, ca. she's winning the 400 im (individual medley) in this picture.

these two are swimming gods. on the left is mark spitz. in 1972, he won 7 gold medals for swimming. the most ever won in one olympics. on the right is michael phelps. if he breaks mark's record, michael will be awarded 1 million. that's a lot of mula. i'm rooting for him though...he needs to "smash the aussies like a guitar" at this olympics! ian thorp's goin down!
